4 Week Fitness: Week 1

Fitness wear from www.non-brandstore.com

Welcome to Week 1 of our 4 Week Fitness program! If you've made the choice to start getting ready for pool season with me, then WAY TO GO US! We deserve to feel comfortable in our own skin while we work towards getting fit. If you haven't signed up for my email program, sign up here so you can get my free meal plans, and the workouts for the week emailed directly to you.

I added two rest days because... I need them. I have tried doing 7 days a week, 6 days a week and 2-a-days and it's just not something that works for me anymore! And that is so important. Find the kind of routine that works for you. My hope here is that we all get in a routine of taking care of ourselves every day. You don't have to be perfect, you just have to do your best to take care of YOU. We will keep this kind of routine until week 4. I recommend setting about an hour and a half every day for your warm-up, workout, and cool down. It's best to schedule it at about the same time every day. For me, it'll be in the mornings after I feed my son breakfast and before his afternoon nap.

I love the meditation on the rest days to get you in tune with your body and work on our inner stuff while we work on our outer stuff. I'll give new options for meditations every week, but you are welcome to stick to ones you like and please feel free to add meditation more often!

Did you miss a day? No big deal! You don't have to start over or anything like that. That was yesterday, today we got this! Every time you make a workout, give yourself a high five! Let me know in the Social Club so I can give you a high five too! And tomorrow, we get the opportunity to take care of ourselves again and earn our reward. For me, it'll be lounging at Encore Beach Club on their opening day, feeling like my best self! I'd love to see you there, but if you can't make it, still reward yourself with something you love! If that's a girl's trip to the next town over or a night out dancing whatever makes YOU happy that you don't get to do all the time. Do that thing! And do it BIG! Let me know down in the Social Club what that thing is!

See you next week for week 2!

Plan on coming and celebrating your successful completion of this program? Book your stay with us right now, and pick up your tickets to Encore Beach Club! Planning for your reward puts your whole vibe in the alignment of already having earned it and propels you to finish the task at hand to get there. I'm planning the weekend of Thursday, March 5th through Sunday, March 8th. I am recommending the Wynn and Encore. Some more budget-friendly hotels are the Strat and Sahara.

Why Vacations Are So Important

Lots of us have vision boards of our ideal vacations, follow lifestyle travelers on social media or look up flights to our perfect destination only to never actually go for it...then never take a vacation at all! We might even look at those "professional vacationers" and think that could never be us...Well it can, and for so many reasons, it SHOULD be us. One of those reasons is stress. I am a stress magnet. Something goes wrong and I am instantly stressed TF out! Deadlines are approaching - I tense up, or I have to work with someone I don't vibe with and my whole situation is just wrong for the rest of the project. You know what one thing we can all do to decrease the amount of stress we have? Vacation - Stay-cation, whatever you can do, just get away and breath some new air! Stress is just one of many reasons to take vacations. If you have a job that requires creativity, taking a vacation will remove the "crunch time - deadline" stress, and allow your ...

Skin Deep: Lancome Teint Idole

Know what your favorite foundation is? I thought I did...and then Influenster sent me a lovely care package that they call a VoxBox, filled with Lancome products that rocked my world. That being said...I have new favorites. I don't even know if it's fair to use the word favorite anymore now that they change with every new package I receive! I'm calling them my top 10s now, and my Lancome Teint Idole products are at the top. Concealer : The concealer I got is Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage in 435 Suede (W). This concealer didn't come here to play games! I used it on my under eye area to brighten as well as cover up some redness from blemishes and acne scars. The product is powerful, so a little bit went a long way. On my under eye, I typically have issues with concealers being thick and ending up super cakey looking under my eyes, not this concealer! Camouflage is the perfect name. It slipped in, covered up my dark circles and was completely unno...

Watch Next: BLEACH Live Action on Netflix

BLEACH - Live Action Movie Let's talk Netflix! I spend so much time streaming my favorite shows and movies it is absolutely crazy. I'm sure if Netflix and Hulu and Amazon Prime (yes I have all of them) decided to tell me how many hours a month I spend using their streaming services it would be embarrassing. So, I totally know what's poppin on the streaming services and am more than happy to help you find your next entertainment title! Today, I'm telling you enough to get you excited but not spoil BLEACH! Bleach was originally a manga (I never read it) then it became a TV series aka an Anime. I am a HUGE fan of the series and have watched the whole thing like 3 times on crunchy roll (Yes, I have that too). If you decide you like the movie, I 100% recommend you watch the series. Let me reel in my fangirl and tell you the basics: The main character, Ichigo is just a regular-degular 15 year old (Who looks NOTHING like a 15-year-old in the movie nor the a...

Why I Meditate

I love meditation. My life has totally turned around since I started taking time to be still and turn inward instead of always focusing so hard outward. There's no pressure to meditation, you can meditate for as long or as quickly as you'd like. You have no one to be accountable to, no one to impress, nothing to do but focus on yourself and take a moment for self-care. I started meditating probably about 9 years ago (don't do that math), but I didn't start doing it regularly until the last 3 years. It gives me the time to STOP reflecting on the day, stop thinking back on things I could have done differently, stop planning for the future and just be present. I practice some different energy healing modalities such as Reiki & the Seraphim Blueprint and use crystals and anything else that vibes with me to get in the zone. When I first started, I loved using guided meditations to "clear my chakras" or just talk me through relaxation and give my ...

Nikki On Vegas: The New Launch

Welcome to the new Nikki On Vegas Blog. I've had some huge changes in my life in the past year and a half that I needed to reflect into my online presence. The New New   Get a similar sweater dress here. Size up for maternity. About a year and a half ago, I was blogging regularly, all over social media and completely content to keep blogging specifically about Vegas and helping people have their best vacations ever. Then I got pregnant! I had a super difficult pregnancy and couldn't keep up with the lifestyle I had before at all. Since having my beautiful, amazing, miracle baby I realized that I have SO MUCH MORE that I want to talk about, share, and learn. It took me WAY too long to figure out how to do that and still provide the Vegas info, reviews, tips and tricks that I love so much. But! I'm back, the Vegas is still here, I've just expanded to much much more.  All of my social media will remain @NikkiOnVegas, so kee...
