Nikki Houston Crowned Ms. Nevada Regency International 2020 


Las Vegas, NV: On February 16, 2020, Nikki Houston was awarded the title of Ms. Nevada Regency International 2020. The Nevada Regency International pageant took place at El Palacio Del Sol in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Nikki Houston is the Mother of a beautiful 2-year-old, a Las Vegas-based lifestyle blogger, Luxury Travel Advisor, and IT Security consultant. A strong supporter of local businesses, she uses her 10 years of experience as a former US Navy Information Systems Technician and Corporate IT Support Specialist and Information Security Analyst to help small businesses set up their network infrastructure to ensure easy access, dependability and security while also increasing their reach through her blog, NikkiOnVegas.com and social channels. Luxury Travel Advisement has given her the opportunity to be a part of Southern Nevada's growing economy by ensuring our travelers get to experience the excellent customer service, diverse culture and exciting entertainment unique to our valley.

Now, holding the title of Ms. Nevada Regency International, Nikki plans on spending her year playing an active roll in the community empowering women to go after their dreams and goals regardless of what stage of life they are in. Let's Go Sailing: Cruising With a Toddler

Cruising with Carnival has become a yearly thing for my mom and I, and this year we extended the tradition a generation by bringing my 1-year-old with us. We went for a 4 day, Halloween cruise from Long Beach with 2 stops - Catalina Island and Ensenada, Baja California. Here's a rundown on going on a cruise with a toddler! First off, we drove from Las Vegas all the way to the Long Beach Terminal so the first leg of our trip was a 4+ hour car ride. I made sure we were fully stocked for the ride over so we wouldn't have to make too many stops and make the ride any longer. Turns out we didn't need anything I packed for the ride because he slept for about 3 1/2 hours and was completely content with his tablet, a juice box, and some cheez-its when he woke up. 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ We decided to check our bags instead of dragging them through the ship because we just knew we wanted to grab some food and explore before going back to the room. My Disney+ Watchlist: November Launch

I love a good streaming service, and Disney has just taken 100% of my viewing time with the launch of its latest service, Disney+! They've got our all-time faves from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more. I've signed up, and locked in my free trial and am about to grab the popcorn and snuggle up for the long haul! Here's what's first up in my Disney+ watch list. My first ever Disney+ stream was an easy choice, The Nightmare Before Christmas! My tiny was Jack Skellington for Halloween, and it's the perfect movie for between the seasons. I'm sure we'll put this one back on a few times as it's an all-time favorite. Next up, we went straight to The Goofy Movie! I have the fondest memories of this from being a kid! Moming In Vegas: Container Park

Kid Friendly Life In Vegas We had our FIRST EVER play date! One of the dopest things about Las Vegas is that there are SO many family-friendly activities. I didn't even know about most of them until I became a mom. Our first date was at the Container Park, a place I thought was only for 21+. Turns out, 21+ is only at night from 9PM to close!  First things first, PARKING. It's downtown so you can get "free" parking at places like Main Street Station if you plan on spending some money at their casino and validate your parking. For me, I don't have a problem dropping some change in the machine right next to where I'm going. DON'T FORGET to leave the ticket in your window, and how long you paid for! My Netflix Obsession: Raising Dion

My latest Netflix obsession lands right on Raising Dion. This Netflix Original is about a Widowed single mother, played by Alisha Wainwright (that I recognize from Shadow Hunters), who is doing her best to raise a son with superhuman abilities that seem to keep growing. While we are at NO shortage of superhero movies and shows right now, this one breaks the average mold by being the story of a child of color. Without giving you too many spoilers, this is why you should start binging right now. First, second and third of all MICHAEL B. JORDAN. Thank you, and goodnight folks. That smile moves mountains and can get me to watch anything! BUT, I got caught up and sucked in before I even realized he was in this so it was a delightful bonus.
