The Women of Las Vegas: The Monat Monarchs

Meet the Monat Monarchs

A group of women after my whole heart! The Monat Monarchs is a Las Vegas-based group of powerful boss babes spreading uplifting messages of gratitude, growth, and grace through connecting women all over our community and fueled by the Monat Premium Hair and Skin Products. Monat is a brand that has put their consumers first at every available opportunity. During this pandemic, their production team has made a focus on creating hand sanitizer gel to add to every order placed on April 7th for 15 days. They didn't stop there, they are also sending out 40,000 bottles of hand sanitizer gel to children's services organizations, homeless shelters, and community centers on the front lines across America and Canada.

We're making hand sanitizer gel! Addressing the recent shortage of hand sanitizer amidst the #COVID19 pandemic, our diligent manufacturing team is temporarily pivoting its focus to produce a new formula we believe will help make an impact: MONAT Hand Sanitizer Gel!⠀ For fifteen days beginning on April 7, we will include a complimentary 2-ounce bottle of MONAT Hand Sanitizer Gel in every order shipped in the United States and Canada. We project this will provide some 200,000 bottles to our VIP Customers, Retail Customers and Market Partners. ⠀ But that's not at all!⠀ ⠀ Our @monatgratitudeofficial team will donate 20,000 bottles to support the Florida Division of Emergency Management’s critically low supply of hand sanitizer, helping to fill the needs of Florida’s hospitals and emergency care services.⠀ ⠀⠀ MONAT Gratitude will also be donating an additional 20,000 bottles to its non profit partners here in Florida as well as organizations identified by our MONAT Gratitude Ambassadors across the US and Canada. Together, we are working to do our part to make a positive impact. We hope you will join us! #monatgratitude #monatfamily

Founded by one of my favorite Social Media Entrepreneurs, @BugattiBody, the Monat Monarchs put on local events to connect local businesswomen to each other and to give us all a place to come through and support a powerful movement of women who are choosing to support and uplift each other while encouraging them to take the next step towards their goals. And that's just the tip of what they do, there's still all that is Monat Premium Hair and Skin Products.

Through Monat, these women are able to build constantly growing online-based businesses while taking excellent care of their hair and skin, and sharing that with their friends. Monat provides nature-based, vegan, and cruelty-free products that are Leaping Bunny certified that will heal your hair and skin from that inside out. As a business, their mission is to help people everywhere enjoy beautiful, healthy, fulfilling lives through their exceptional, naturally based products, a fun, and rewarding business opportunity, and a culture of family, service, and gratitude.ᶥ
While you can join the movement at any time as a market partner and start carving out your own piece of the Shampoo Pie, you can also purchase the products retail or join as a VIP to get discounts and gifts that you can't get anywhere else. I was introduced to their amazing products by Elizabeth, @Bedheadbetty, a member of the Monat Monarchs and an all-around phenomenal human being. Whether you want to get a sample, jump right in and join the movement or need a little inspiration to keep pushing you to live your best life she is definitely your girl.

There are moments in your life when your purpose becomes abundantly clear. ⁣ ⁣ And the next step becomes figuring out how to live each moment in service of that purpose. ⁣ ⁣ This month has forced me to take sometime and reflection and I almost feel like the universe wanted me to step back and really think about what it all means. ⁣ ⁣ Trust the divine timing, and open yourself to opportunity. You never know what’s waiting for you just on the other side of a simple yet meaningful decision. ⁣ ⁣ If you could pinpoint a greater purpose in your life something that moves you to action what would it be? ⁣ ⁣ For me it’s about giving a voice to to the voiceless, about giving strength to people who haven’t had support in their life. To show them that they have worth and can go after their dreams. And they can do it by being their best self. ⁣ ⁣ Sometimes you just need some love, support, and a vehicle to get you there. ⁣ ⁣ Come fly with me! 🦋⁣ ⁣ ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨⁣ ⁣ #findyourpurpose #findyourjoy ⁣ ⁣ Tell me what’s your purpose or something that brings you great joy 💗⁣ ⁣ 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

Throw Back: That one time I competed in a pageant

Once upon a time, what seems like a long time ago I decided I wanted to be a beauty queen. It was definitely an experience I will never forget and I finally have the chance to tell you all about it! I've always known that I wanted to help people in some way, and one day it dawned on me if I had a crown that would definitely give me a much louder voice to speak on issues I thought were important. So, I went searching for what I thought was the best pageant for me and I landed on Miss Nevada USA 2016. The only thing I knew about pageants at this point was from the Miss Congeniality movie and what I heard about from my cousin's social media pages. So from that, I thought it was going to be a breeze...PSYCH! It was probably the most grueling process of self-discovery I've ever put myself through. My first step was figuring out how much all of this was going to cost. For me, it was a ridiculous amount that I just wasn't going to be able to make at my day job in

Kid Friendly Vegas: Kangamoo

I have a one-year-old! Life is BANANAS! To celebrate my young King's first birthday, we took him to Kangamoo indoor playground. Here's how it went. This place is HUGE. I was shook once I walked in and tried to find the bathroom through what felt like miles of padded kid-wonderland. I didn't do too much exploring of the big kid area, and I made it a point not to go when they were having a special event but according to their facebook page, this place is lit! Every Thursday 4:30-5:30 they have a character come by and play around with the kids (perfect photo op), Wednesday is arts and crafts day 10AM-12, Balloon Animals and face paint every Friday 2-4, and Musical Story Time on Tuesday 10AM-12. All other times Mon - Fri 9am-7pm and Sat-Sun 9AM-5PM is open play time. Now, back to my nugget. I think he had a BLAST! This was his first time playing outside of our home and having so many options for new things to touch. It was ADORABLE. His attention span is one thing

When to do Vegas: 2019 Vegas Travel Outline

There isn't really a bad time to do Vegas! We have the staples that are ALWAYS better to do in Vegas like 21st birthdays, EVERY birthday after 21, Batchelor and Bachelorette parties, Weddings, Anniversaries, Reunions and any other gathering you have going on. Every season and every occasion, we have just the thing to keep you entertained. I, of course, have my favorites! Here is an outline of some of my favorite times to be in Las Vegas. VALENTINE'S DAY: I am a MUSH! I love everything romantic, and cheesy and the things that make you go, "Awwww!" and Vegas is SUCH a perfect time to let out that inner romantic. I've had couples do everything from the most romantic 5-star meals and exclusive shows to the extreme couple who jumped off the Stratosphere to celebrate their love for each other. I love the idea of spoiling your babe with luxury, and Vegas gives you EVERY option to do that. ST. PATRICK'S DAY This one isn't for the kids...this is

Nikki's Mix this week talked all about all these REMAKES on TV right now! From Charmed to Sabrina and now my main focus of this segment Roswell, New Mexico! My travel slot is going DEEP about how we all, when able, should start taking advantage of travel professionals instead of planning vacations for ourselves that might be 10x better or more cost effective! Especially when it's our first time visiting a new city, state or country. If you a

BLACK LIVES MATTER

Someone asked me how I was doing, and that was the first time I took a moment to reflect on how I was actually feeling outside of complete outrage.  I'm tired. I'm in anguish. I'm completely depleted. I'm overwhelmed and grieving. In a revolving state of being overtaken by incredible sadness to unbeleivably angry. I'm not ok. I wish things were better. https://t.co/lYhiqi7cML — Nikki On Vegas (@NikkiOnVegas) June 5, 2020 It's unbelievable to me that Black lives are still being lost at the hands that are meant to protect and serve us, without cause, and in most cases without punishment deserving of the crime. Then those officers are protected and shielded from any punishment by the same institution that systematically oppresses Black people. The duty to Protect and Serve that  should  be upheld by all officers does not count when it comes to Black people. The unjust murders of Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Philando Castile, Tamir Rice, Freddie Gray, and now Georg

Safety 101: 5 Tips for Solo Travel to Las Vegas

Getting your whole crew together to come party with you in Vegas can be a challenge! Everyone has a reason to miss out on this trip, whether it's budget, timing, childcare, etc. Sometimes, you have to just catch a flight and take a vacation by yourself! This can be the best time you've ever had, but you have more safety concerns when you're solo than when you're with a crew. Here are some safety tips to keep in mind on your next solo outing in Las Vegas. Stay In Public Areas Las Vegas is among the most popular tourist destinations in America. We do everything we can to make sure your stay is safe, and you feel secure. You can't get into the hotel elevators at most resorts unless you have a room key, Las Vegas Blvd (the Strip) and the Fremont Street Experience are lined with on-duty police officers, and each hotel has their own trained security staff ready to aid any situation (even labor!). Some of our best venues are off the strip. For this, I recommend taking

My Disney+ Watchlist: November Launch

I love a good streaming service, and Disney has just taken 100% of my viewing time with the launch of its latest service, Disney+! They've got our all-time faves from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more. I've signed up, and locked in my free trial and am about to grab the popcorn and snuggle up for the long haul! Here's what's first up in my Disney+ watch list. My first ever Disney+ stream was an easy choice, The Nightmare Before Christmas! My tiny was Jack Skellington for Halloween, and it's the perfect movie for between the seasons. I'm sure we'll put this one back on a few times as it's an all-time favorite. Next up, we went straight to The Goofy Movie! I have the fondest memories of this from being a kid! I'm pretty sure I had the tape 😂. My tiny was fully ready to jump up and try to do the Power Line/Goofy dance with me. And, he recognized Goofy from the shows he gets to watch now. Such a fun moment. Then w

Vegas for Christmas

When we think of a holiday vacation, we don't really put Vegas and Christmas together in one sentence unless it also involves a Batchelor party. I'm here to challenge that with 3 reasons you should hit Vegas for the holidays that DON'T include the partying, gambling, drinking, and year-round Vegas events. HOLIDAY FEAST There are very few places in the world you can hop around a 3-mile area and have a meal from celebrity chefs and world-class foodie favorites. Not to even mention what feels like "regular" to locals, but is still a top reason thousands flock to the city regardless of the season: ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFETS! For the holidays we go all out and tend to have a price tag to match, but a staple in inexpensive and AMAZING is Ellis Island. Just trust me. Your hotel's cafe will also have reasonable prices! Here's a short list of "OMG you've gotta eat here" on Christmas Night: THE BUFFET AT ARIA - $53.99 for all you can eat, endl

Vegas Bound: Christmas In Vegas 2019

Christmas in Las Vegas is really SUCH a magical thing. The Las Vegas strip sprinkles a little bit of holiday magic all over EVERYTHING, and it is so beautiful! All of our usual attractions, like the Bellagio Fountain bring the Christmas cheer with holiday music playing this season. I'd LOVE for the world to start looking at Vegas during the Holiday season, so here's a couple of things to be aware of, what's going on and my recommendations. SO, Vegas is not really less busy during the Holiday Season.  So don’t expect any holiday discounts or extra space it will be the general amount of crowded...if not a bit more! Buffets and full course meal/dine-in options are going to be a little more expensive b/c they are going to be WAY more decked out than usual. It’s cold as all hell here to me right now it’s like in the 50s all week so bundle up for that. But there are SO many things happening, most things are going to be open and at its usual hours except for like our l
