My Disney+ Watchlist: November Launch


I love a good streaming service, and Disney has just taken 100% of my viewing time with the launch of its latest service, Disney+! They've got our all-time faves from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more. I've signed up, and locked in my free trial and am about to grab the popcorn and snuggle up for the long haul! Here's what's first up in my Disney+ watch list.

My first ever Disney+ stream was an easy choice, The Nightmare Before Christmas! My tiny was Jack Skellington for Halloween, and it's the perfect movie for between the seasons. I'm sure we'll put this one back on a few times as it's an all-time favorite.

Next up, we went straight to The Goofy Movie! I have the fondest memories of this from being a kid! I'm pretty sure I had the tape 😂. My tiny was fully ready to jump up and try to do the Power Line/Goofy dance with me. And, he recognized Goofy from the shows he gets to watch now. Such a fun moment.

Then we tuned into the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Watching it now, with more life experiences under my belt I am SO much more in love with Esmeralda and am so proud I looked up to her as a kid for standing up for Quasimodo. This one pulled my heartstrings so hard!! So many lessons that are so applicable to life. I am so glad we are going to be able to watch this whenever we are in the mood.

Now to our "Playing Soon" list, we are going to be jumping right into James and the Giant Peach, Flubber and Who Framed Roger Rabit! Then I want to dive into some of my favorite old series like Gargoyles and the Silver Surfer! I doubt this will keep us busy through next week, so I'm sure you'll have a new update from us soon!

Vegas Bound: March 2020

**UPDATE: Per Governor Sisolak the State of Nevada has closed all non-essential businesses to include all of the below-mentioned venues and events. See my post here for details.** It's POOL SEASON! Spring has sprung all over our lovely valley and our favorite pools are in session. Along with double the entertainment & relaxation options with our pools open, St. Patricks day is coming in HOT! Streaming: Disney and Pixar's 'Onward'

Disney+ dropped some blessings for us during this quarantine and I am so grateful! Since Social Distancing made it hard for us to safely go see 'Onward' in theatres when it came out last month, Disney and Pixar gave us a quarantine present and dropped it for us to stream from home WAY earlier than expected on Disney+! With 50 Million or more of us holding on tightly to our Disney+ subscriptions, let's all watch this one with or without the kids. Vegas Travel Guide 2020: When to plan your next trip and what to do when you get here

This is my favorite post of the year! When I get to outline my favorite times to be in Las Vegas, and what you should do once you get here for each of those times. I can not wait for you to come through and check them out for yourself.  First things first, no matter when you decide to come, make sure you check with my hotel team for the best rates and book with us every time you come to Vegas. We also keep rates for different cities, so check with us every time you need a vacation or a staycation. A Day Outdoors: Mount Charleston

Beat The Heat Casino got you down? Take a trip to Mount Charleston, breath the fresh mountain air and super double bouns get out of the crazy valley heat. If you are staying on the strip, it's just a short 45min-hour drive. I don't recommend getting an Uber here because service is NON-EXISTANT up here, and I can't guarantee you can get back. This is definitely a "Take a Drive" kind of trip.  I love it up here because it is SO beautiful. It's like a whole different world from the desert you have to drive through to get to Vegas and our natural habitat here. And the vibes are nothing like you get in the city. You can actually breathe up here. This day it was about 25 degrees cooler than it was in the Valley.  If you come through on a day when it's rainy or just rained up in the mountains, you will see waterfalls ALL OVER the place as you drive up the mountain! This is a new one for me, but as a state titleholder in the Beauty world, it's about time I get sharing what's going on in my makeup bag. Why Vacations Are So Important

Lots of us have vision boards of our ideal vacations, follow lifestyle travelers on social media or look up flights to our perfect destination only to never actually go for it...then never take a vacation at all! We might even look at those "professional vacationers" and think that could never be us...Well it can, and for so many reasons, it SHOULD be us. One of those reasons is stress. I am a stress magnet. Something goes wrong and I am instantly stressed TF out! Deadlines are approaching - I tense up, or I have to work with someone I don't vibe with and my whole situation is just wrong for the rest of the project. You know what one thing we can all do to decrease the amount of stress we have? Vacation - Stay-cation, whatever you can do, just get away and breath some new air!
