MTV Movie Awards 2019: Vegas Faves and Looks I Love

Any MTV Awards show has such a huge place in my heart! I just remember being young and thinking how exciting it was to watch all my favorite celebrities getting trophies. All the performances and then getting to talk to my friends about it at school the next day! Well, now we have Twitter to instantly connect to everyone, see behind the scenes, all the processes and relive every moment we loved whenever we want! It's a whole new world now, and I'm carving out my little slice with my first live event coverage blog!

I loved the low key theme of this year's show was to love yourself, dream big and be kind to people! Jada MOVED me so much when she spoke about those internal trails, and The Rock is always such a beautiful source of inspiration. While all of that was amazing and beautiful, what I'm here to talk about today is Red Carpet Love! Here's a quick list of the looks I loved, and who we love to see here in Vegas.

Jada took this year's trail blazer with the red table talk being her current center piece. I think she looked ABSOLUTELY fabulous on the carpet.

Hormone monsters!! I SCREAMED! I am definitely a huge fan of animation and seeing those characters physically out in the world makes me beyond happy!

Tiffany Haddish worked this! Every picture I saw of her in this gown was amazing. I love her vibe, and that she is so free to be herself on any red carpet.

MJ Rodriguez immediately makes me think of she wildly dope TV series POSE that I've been watching the past couple weeks on Netflix and I just LOVE the cut of this SUPER V here!

Sydney Sweeney had on my favorite dress of the day! When I have my first gown customized I'm totally checking back to this exact look for inspiration. Gorgeous.

Brody Jenner was the ONLY Vegas staple I recognized in my Getty Image search! Thank God for The Hills or we might have missed having any recognizable faces. Now that I think about it, I haven't seen him back too often! His most recent appearance was at On The Record, and I'm used to seeing his name associated with Hakkasan Group before that.

Dave Bautista is everything I never knew I needed in men's fashion. I'm going to be referencing this look for WEEKS to my clients. I'm 100% here for it.

The Vegas love was not heavy this year that I noticed but I'm rooting for us for next year! I loved getting to look at something I usually fan girl at with blogger goggles so I'll be doing some more event coverage like this and hopefully start doing some live coverage on social media!

Skin Deep: Lancome Teint Idole

Know what your favorite foundation is? I thought I did...and then Influenster sent me a lovely care package that they call a VoxBox, filled with Lancome products that rocked my world. That being said...I have new favorites. I don't even know if it's fair to use the word favorite anymore now that they change with every new package I receive! I'm calling them my top 10s now, and my Lancome Teint Idole products are at the top. Concealer : The concealer I got is Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage in 435 Suede (W). This concealer didn't come here to play games! I used it on my under eye area to brighten as well as cover up some redness from blemishes and acne scars. The product is powerful, so a little bit went a long way. On my under eye, I typically have issues with concealers being thick and ending up super cakey looking under my eyes, not this concealer! Watch Next: BLEACH Live Action on Netflix

BLEACH - Live Action Movie Let's talk Netflix! I spend so much time streaming my favorite shows and movies it is absolutely crazy. I'm sure if Netflix and Hulu and Amazon Prime (yes I have all of them) decided to tell me how many hours a month I spend using their streaming services it would be embarrassing. Why I Meditate

I love meditation. My life has totally turned around since I started taking time to be still and turn inward instead of always focusing so hard outward. There's no pressure to meditation, you can meditate for as long or as quickly as you'd like. You have no one to be accountable to, no one to impress, nothing to do but focus on yourself and take a moment for self-care. I started meditating probably about 9 years ago (don't do that math), but I didn't start doing it regularly until the last 3 years. It gives me the time to STOP reflecting on the day, stop thinking back on things I could have done differently, stop planning for the future and just be present. I practice some different energy healing modalities such as Reiki & the Seraphim Blueprint and use crystals and anything else that vibes with me to get in the zone. Nikki On Vegas: The New Launch

Welcome to the new Nikki On Vegas Blog. I've had some huge changes in my life in the past year and a half that I needed to reflect into my online presence. The New New   Get a similar sweater dress here. Size up for maternity. About a year and a half ago, I was blogging regularly, all over social media and completely content to keep blogging specifically about Vegas and helping people have their best vacations ever. Then I got pregnant! I had a super difficult pregnancy and couldn't keep up with the lifestyle I had before at all. Since having my beautiful, amazing, miracle baby I realized that I have SO MUCH MORE that I want to talk about, share, and learn.
