Vegas for Christmas



When we think of a holiday vacation, we don't really put Vegas and Christmas together in one sentence unless it also involves a Batchelor party. I'm here to challenge that with 3 reasons you should hit Vegas for the holidays that DON'T include the partying, gambling, drinking, and year-round Vegas events.

HOLIDAY FEAST

There are very few places in the world you can hop around a 3-mile area and have a meal from celebrity chefs and world-class foodie favorites. Not to even mention what feels like "regular" to locals, but is still a top reason thousands flock to the city regardless of the season: ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFETS! For the holidays we go all out and tend to have a price tag to match, but a staple in inexpensive and AMAZING is Ellis Island. Just trust me. Your hotel's cafe will also have reasonable prices! Here's a short list of "OMG you've gotta eat here" on Christmas Night:

  1. THE BUFFET AT ARIA - $53.99 for all you can eat, endless course dinner 12:00-10:30PM (Aria Resort & Casino)
  2. HOUSE OF BLUES - $45 four-course Dinner through 11PM (Mandalay Bay)
  3. BUDDY V's - $53 Dinner through 10PM (Venetian)
  4. BALIWICK - $35 three-course dinner through 11PM (New Orleans)

HOLIDAY VIEWS

Vegas is the high key home to neon lights. Add some larger than life Christmas Trees, snow falling, holiday parades, and an ice rink or two and we are definitely a sight to see! We love flashy things that make you go "WOW" and the sharing of feels. Christmas season is no different. Here is just a small list of places that are perfect for your holiday photos and to get you in a festive vibe:

HOLIDAY EVENTS & ACTIVITIES

This list could go on forever! Just this past week, there was a "Nightmare Before Christmas" Themed Holiday party with Skeleton Jack and Oogie Boogie's Lair. It was EVERYTHING. They took over the entire boutique hotel, and this is how I want to live out the rest of my life. We have regular nightclub events with "Sexy Lingerie" themed nights for my ladies who keep themselves bikini ready all year long because, Life! We also have several ice skating rinks, the Cosmopolitan Rink comes with Holiday Watch Parties that are great for the entire family. Container Park also has their festive gear on and is a perfect location to kick it with the kiddos during the day.

This is the shortest list of things to see and places to be, so if you are coming to town last minute send me an email so I can send you some more things that are going on that are more catered to what you might like. Vegas doesn't really shut down, so expect your usual favorite Las Vegas Strip Venues, Restaurants, and Bars/Lounges to be open and ready to keep your holiday spirits up.

Kid Friendly Vegas: Kangamoo

I have a one-year-old! Life is BANANAS! To celebrate my young King's first birthday, we took him to Kangamoo indoor playground. Here's how it went. This place is HUGE. I was shook once I walked in and tried to find the bathroom through what felt like miles of padded kid-wonderland. I didn't do too much exploring of the big kid area, and I made it a point not to go when they were having a special event but according to their facebook page, this place is lit! Every Thursday 4:30-5:30 they have a character come by and play around with the kids (perfect photo op), Wednesday is arts and crafts day 10AM-12, Balloon Animals and face paint every Friday 2-4, and Musical Story Time on Tuesday 10AM-12. All other times Mon - Fri 9am-7pm and Sat-Sun 9AM-5PM is open play time. Now, back to my nugget. I think he had a BLAST! Streaming: Disney and Pixar's 'Onward'

Disney+ dropped some blessings for us during this quarantine and I am so grateful! Since Social Distancing made it hard for us to safely go see 'Onward' in theatres when it came out last month, Disney and Pixar gave us a quarantine present and dropped it for us to stream from home WAY earlier than expected on Disney+! With 50 Million or more of us holding on tightly to our Disney+ subscriptions, let's all watch this one with or without the kids. Vegas Bound: January 2020 Guide

Welcome to 2020! May this year bring you all the things you have set out for yourself. Hopefully, that includes lots of Vegas time. This list does not include everything that is happening here regularly like the Cirque du solei shows, the daily free shows, sights and things like that. I've just got the big and noteworthy things that are here for the moment and all the club events I could stand to type up. If you are planning a vacation or staycation, book your hotel with my team. Any MTV Awards show has such a huge place in my heart! I just remember being young and thinking how exciting it was to watch all my favorite celebrities getting trophies. All the performances and then getting to talk to my friends about it at school the next day! My Netflix Obsession: The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 3!

I feel like I've been waiting for this to drop FOREVER!!! I've been battling a touch of insomnia so I was MORE than pleased to tune in to Part 3 of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina the moment it dropped on January 24th and here's why YOU should be just as obsessed.
