Locals I Love: Bougie Girl Vegas

Welcome back to the second edition of the Locals I Love series! This week I am telling you all about one of my new favorite brands to keep up with and adorn myself with, the Wallet Friendly Luxury of Bougie Girl Vegas.

Bougie Girl Vegas is an online accessory boutique that I came across while looking for a local place to get my jewelry from instead of always shopping overseas for a discount, or going into a mass retailer that doesn't actually care about me and the look I'd like to portray with their jewelry. As soon as I saw her inventory, I knew this brand was one I was definitely down to rock with.

I ordered this tacos necklace so fast yall! It didn't even take a second thought, and I've been here for the brand ever since. For me, it matters so much more what the person who runs the business is about than anything else, and just recently I got the opportunity to meet the beautiful young woman who runs the business.

Cortney is a Las Vegas local that is providing us with the earrings, necklaces, and headbands that my favorite locals are wearing. Bougie Girl Vegas is also taking part in the Susan G Koman Race for a Cure this year in the Las Vegas Walk in Henderson on Saturday, May 4th! The beautiful thing about this walk is that the majority of the funds stay in our community to help fund breast health education, provide screening and treatment to US right here in Nevada! Mom Life in Quarantine: Toddler Craft Time - Hidden Messages Water Coloring

Social Distancing and Quarantine with my wonderful 2-year-old has been an experience so far! Earning The Crown - Ms. Nevada Regency International 2020

Winning a state title is a surreal moment. When they put that crown on my head and I did my celebratory walk, all I could think was that I still could NOT believe it. If you would have told me 30 days before, that I would not only be competing in a state pageant but WINNING one, I would not have believed you. Let me tell you how I got here. A few years ago, I did a little soul searching and found that for me to really be happy I needed to be spending my time in service to my community and making a positive impact on someone else's life even if that just meant an extra smile in their day. 4 Week Fitness: Week 3

Welcome to week 3! We are at the halfway mark and moving past it with a FORCE ! We've got this far and we owe it to ourselves to push through and finish these last 2 weeks. My Disney+ Watchlist: November Launch

I love a good streaming service, and Disney has just taken 100% of my viewing time with the launch of its latest service, Disney+! They've got our all-time faves from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more. I've signed up, and locked in my free trial and am about to grab the popcorn and snuggle up for the long haul! Here's what's first up in my Disney+ watch list. My Netflix Obsession: Raising Dion

My latest Netflix obsession lands right on Raising Dion. This Netflix Original is about a Widowed single mother, played by Alisha Wainwright (that I recognize from Shadow Hunters), who is doing her best to raise a son with superhuman abilities that seem to keep growing. While we are at NO shortage of superhero movies and shows right now, this one breaks the average mold by being the story of a child of color. Without giving you too many spoilers, this is why you should start binging right now. First, second and third of all MICHAEL B. JORDAN. Thank you, and goodnight folks. That smile moves mountains and can get me to watch anything! BUT, I got caught up and sucked in before I even realized he was in this so it was a delightful bonus.
