Locals I Love: Bougie Girl Vegas

Welcome back to the second edition of the Locals I Love series! This week I am telling you all about one of my new favorite brands to keep up with and adorn myself with, the Wallet Friendly Luxury of Bougie Girl Vegas.


Bougie Girl Vegas is an online accessory boutique that I came across while looking for a local place to get my jewelry from instead of always shopping overseas for a discount, or going into a mass retailer that doesn't actually care about me and the look I'd like to portray with their jewelry. As soon as I saw her inventory, I knew this brand was one I was definitely down to rock with.


I ordered this tacos necklace so fast yall! It didn't even take a second thought, and I've been here for the brand ever since. For me, it matters so much more what the person who runs the business is about than anything else, and just recently I got the opportunity to meet the beautiful young woman who runs the business.


Cortney is a Las Vegas local that is providing us with the earrings, necklaces, and headbands that my favorite locals are wearing. Bougie Girl Vegas is also taking part in the Susan G Koman Race for a Cure this year in the Las Vegas Walk in Henderson on Saturday, May 4th! The beautiful thing about this walk is that the majority of the funds stay in our community to help fund breast health education, provide screening and treatment to US right here in Nevada! Vegas Bound: January 2020 Guide

Welcome to 2020! May this year bring you all the things you have set out for yourself. Hopefully, that includes lots of Vegas time. This list does not include everything that is happening here regularly like the Cirque du solei shows, the daily free shows, sights and things like that. I've just got the big and noteworthy things that are here for the moment and all the club events I could stand to type up. If you are planning a vacation or staycation, book your hotel with my team. We keep rates 20%-30% off nationally advertised rates. I also have rates in cities outside of Las Vegas, so check with us for all of your hotel needs. Let's Go Sailing: Cruising With a Toddler

Cruising with Carnival has become a yearly thing for my mom and I, and this year we extended the tradition a generation by bringing my 1-year-old with us. We went for a 4 day, Halloween cruise from Long Beach with 2 stops - Catalina Island and Ensenada, Baja California. Here's a rundown on going on a cruise with a toddler! First off, we drove from Las Vegas all the way to the Long Beach Terminal so the first leg of our trip was a 4+ hour car ride. I made sure we were fully stocked for the ride over so we wouldn't have to make too many stops and make the ride any longer. Turns out we didn't need anything I packed for the ride because he slept for about 3 1/2 hours and was completely content with his tablet, a juice box, and some cheez-its when he woke up. 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ We decided to check our bags instead of dragging them through the ship because we just knew we wanted to grab some food and explore before going back to the room. Mask Monday: Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask

It is that wonderful time again where my skin is acting all the way out of control. This time it could be my horrible quarantine diet, stress, hormones, my 2-year-old touching God knows what then rubbing my face...the list of possibilities is endless. Moming In Vegas: Container Park

Kid Friendly Life In Vegas We had our FIRST EVER play date! One of the dopest things about Las Vegas is that there are SO many family-friendly activities. I didn't even know about most of them until I became a mom. Our first date was at the Container Park, a place I thought was only for 21+. Turns out, 21+ is only at night from 9PM to close!  First things first, PARKING. It's downtown so you can get "free" parking at places like Main Street Station if you plan on spending some money at their casino and validate your parking. For me, I don't have a problem dropping some change in the machine right next to where I'm going. DON'T FORGET to leave the ticket in your window, and how long you paid for! Day N Vegas: The Hip Hop Festival Vegas Needs

We've been asking for it, and the people down at GoldenVoice have made it happen! The Rap centered, 3-day Hip-Hop music festival of our DREAMS is coming to Las Vegas November 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with Day N Vegas! Here's what we know so far.
