Encore Beach Club: 28 Days To Pool Season Finale

Pool Season 2019 has officially started, and I spent the first-day basking in the sun at Encore Beach Club. I got myself bikini ready by following my 28 Days to Pool Season Workout Program that you can follow too! Here is a bit of a rundown on Encore Beach Club and how I feel about it.

Encore is a BEAUTIFUL property by itself. I love to have my friends stay here as they will NEVER be disappointed with the staff, their service, or their stay. I have not heard a single complaint ever from them on anything here. Encore Beach Club is no different. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Security is tight to get through, they do a full bag search and metal detector scan and have a long list of items that are not allowed in...like selfie sticks...I had to toss mine out... and even though I had to throw something away I still thought the staff handled me with kindness and that is a HUGE DEAL to me.

The lines will be long, but they are easy to figure out and the staff is more than happy to help you figure out where you are supposed to be. The lines are usually set up like Guest List - General Admission/Ticket Holders -  Cabana/Daybed rentals. I always recommend you buy tickets or get a table with your friends. Depending on how busy the day is, the guest list line could wrap around the stairs and by the time you get to the front of the line, you may have to pay anyways. For women, tickets are typically around $25 and around $35 for men, but a guest list is still a good option regardless. You will have to either be an all-girl group or have an equal ratio of girls and guys to get in on a list. Make sure to follow all instructions from your VIP host regarding guest list entry. My best advice is to show up early and bring a bottle of water or cocktail in a disposable cup to tide you over while you wait.

Attire is Pool Club standard. Wear your Bikini/Swim trunks under your sundress or shorts. No offensive sayings or slogans. And nothing that is obviously torn up. Sandals, sneakers, and heels all seem to be just fine for the day. I usually like to keep it casual and wear a comfy dress that's quick to put on and take off that I can still walk through the casinos with and some wedges. This day I stuck to these unique ankle boots and a pink dress I got from Ross for like $7! Lockers are available to rent, and they have a coat check where you can check items that you didn't know you couldn't bring (Like selfie sticks) and your coat. I HIGHLY recommend a travel size sunscreen, lotion and sunshades. There are showers near the back bathrooms if you have any problems with chlorine or...you just like to be extra clean.

Music choice here is typically house/some form of EDM or a good top 40 mix from world-class DJs. Wynn Nightlife doesn't skimp when it comes to entertainment. Every DJ in their line up is a chart-topping entertainer. From Kygo to the Chainsmokers and Diplo. It's ALWAYS going to be a great day here. The bar is usual Vegas Entertainment prices $8 shots, $15 mixed drinks, $11 beers and hundreds for bottles with a Food and Beverage minimum for the tables, cabanas and day beds. Tip your service staff, please.

For me, Encore Beach Club is a MUST and had to be the first place I started Pool Season 2019. Final words of advice are, buy your tickets or table in advance bring your sunscreen and shades and HYDRATE! We are all adults and know what alcohol does to us, but drinking and being active out in the desert sun makes it something new. It is VITAL you get some water in between your rounds. Take care of your self and have fun! We see you, don't catch a Vegas L.

Vegas Bound: Christmas In Vegas 2019

Christmas in Las Vegas is really SUCH a magical thing. The Las Vegas strip sprinkles a little bit of holiday magic all over EVERYTHING, and it is so beautiful! All of our usual attractions, like the Bellagio Fountain bring the Christmas cheer with holiday music playing this season. I'd LOVE for the world to start looking at Vegas during the Holiday season, so here's a couple of things to be aware of, what's going on and my recommendations. SO, Vegas is not really less busy during the Holiday Season.  So don’t expect any holiday discounts or extra space it will be the general amount of crowded...if not a bit more! Buffets and full course meal/dine-in options are going to be a little more expensive b/c they are going to be WAY more decked out than usual. It’s cold as all hell here to me right now it’s like in the 50s all week so bundle up for that. But there are SO many things happening, most things are going to be open and at its usual hours except for like our l...

Why I Meditate

I love meditation. My life has totally turned around since I started taking time to be still and turn inward instead of always focusing so hard outward. There's no pressure to meditation, you can meditate for as long or as quickly as you'd like. You have no one to be accountable to, no one to impress, nothing to do but focus on yourself and take a moment for self-care. I started meditating probably about 9 years ago (don't do that math), but I didn't start doing it regularly until the last 3 years. It gives me the time to STOP reflecting on the day, stop thinking back on things I could have done differently, stop planning for the future and just be present. I practice some different energy healing modalities such as Reiki & the Seraphim Blueprint and use crystals and anything else that vibes with me to get in the zone. When I first started, I loved using guided meditations to "clear my chakras" or just talk me through relaxation and give my ...

Vegas Travel Guide 2020: When to plan your next trip and what to do when you get here

This is my favorite post of the year! When I get to outline my favorite times to be in Las Vegas, and what you should do once you get here for each of those times. I can not wait for you to come through and check them out for yourself.  First things first, no matter when you decide to come, make sure you check with my hotel team for the best rates and book with us every time you come to Vegas. We also keep rates for different cities, so check with us every time you need a vacation or a staycation. Vegas staples are going to be available year-round, like the amazing scenery, nightlife, gaming, shows, and restaurants so don't forget to add those to your itinerary and budget. WINTER Specifically, January 11th - 17th is a great time to get here. We just went through the craziness of the New Year and the holidays so we are kind of in a "settle down" phase and things aren't as crowded or surge priced. Here are a few things to do outside of clubbing, shows...

Nikki On Vegas: The New Launch

Welcome to the new Nikki On Vegas Blog. I've had some huge changes in my life in the past year and a half that I needed to reflect into my online presence. The New New   Get a similar sweater dress here. Size up for maternity. About a year and a half ago, I was blogging regularly, all over social media and completely content to keep blogging specifically about Vegas and helping people have their best vacations ever. Then I got pregnant! I had a super difficult pregnancy and couldn't keep up with the lifestyle I had before at all. Since having my beautiful, amazing, miracle baby I realized that I have SO MUCH MORE that I want to talk about, share, and learn. It took me WAY too long to figure out how to do that and still provide the Vegas info, reviews, tips and tricks that I love so much. But! I'm back, the Vegas is still here, I've just expanded to much much more.  All of my social media will remain @NikkiOnVegas, so kee...
