Vegas Bound: March 2020

It's POOL SEASON! Spring has sprung all over our lovely valley and our favorite pools are in session. Along with double the entertainment & relaxation options with our pools open, St. Patricks day is coming in HOT! This is one of my favorite times to be in Vegas for 2020 so I can not wait to get the festivities started.

Let's get started with the weather. This month is a bit up in the air, we started with perfect 70 degree days, and have started wavering into a much colder rainy 50's and 60's (that's cold to me). Weather data pulled from Accuweather.com. Here's what's happening in Las Vegas this March:

  • Paw Patrol Night at Lazy Dog Restaurant Downtown Summerlin: 31March
    • Tue, March 31, 5PM - 7PM @ Lazy Dog Restaurant
    • Dine on the patio, play games and create your own pup badges! First 50 kids eat free and they are giving away a family pack of tickets to see Paw Patrol is on a roll at the Orleans Arena.

    • March 13-17 @ The entire Fremont Street Experience
    • No cost to enter the area FIVE DAYS OF FOOD, DRINK, MUSIC AND WTF
    • It will be VERY FESTIVE, and Adult oriented from about mid-afternoon on
  • St. Patrick's Day Half Marathon
    • Family-friendly event and Athletes welcome with 1/2 marathon, 12k , 5k and 1 mile runs

  • St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival Henderson
    • March 13-15 From Southern Nevada Sons and Daughters of Erin Free Admission. Carnival Requires Purchase Tickets

It's almost time to celebrate our Independence! Whether you were born and raised with Red, White and Blue in your blood or you are here visiting from the land we gained independence from, this is a day we cherish here in America. 4 Week Fitness: Week 3

Welcome to week 3! We are at the halfway mark and moving past it with a FORCE ! We've got this far and we owe it to ourselves to push through and finish these last 2 weeks. I am already SO PROUD OF US ! Now is the time to lock in our rewards. What to expect in July 2020: Las Vegas After Lock Down

Vegas is OPEN and ready to serve up your next vacation or staycation the way Only Vegas knows how. We are living in a much different time now, so here's what we can expect for a trip to Las Vegas in July. **July 11 Update: Bars, Pubs, etc (see graphic) that do not serve food have all been ordered to close.  First things first, masks are required in all public spaces through the state of Nevada per our latest directive ( see specifics here ). You will have to wear a mask when you are outside of your hotel room in all public spaces. You do not have to wear a mask when doing physical activity like working out, but you will need to wear one on the way to the gym and back. Same with the pool, you do not have to wear one while in the pool, but a mask is required everywhere else including the pool deck. Restaurants, bars, and lounges all have similar rules, masks will be needed while waiting in line to be seated/served but you do not have to wear a mask while eating and drinking. Social ...

Vegas Bound: Christmas In Vegas 2019

Christmas in Las Vegas is really SUCH a magical thing. The Las Vegas strip sprinkles a little bit of holiday magic all over EVERYTHING, and it is so beautiful! All of our usual attractions, like the Bellagio Fountain bring the Christmas cheer with holiday music playing this season. I'd LOVE for the world to start looking at Vegas during the Holiday season, so here's a couple of things to be aware of, what's going on and my recommendations. SO, Vegas is not really less busy during the Holiday Season.  So don’t expect any holiday discounts or extra space it will be the general amount of crowded...if not a bit more!
