Vegas Bound: March 2020

It's POOL SEASON! Spring has sprung all over our lovely valley and our favorite pools are in session. Along with double the entertainment & relaxation options with our pools open, St. Patricks day is coming in HOT! This is one of my favorite times to be in Vegas for 2020 so I can not wait to get the festivities started.

Let's get started with the weather. This month is a bit up in the air, we started with perfect 70 degree days, and have started wavering into a much colder rainy 50's and 60's (that's cold to me). Weather data pulled from Accuweather.com. Here's what's happening in Las Vegas this March:

    • This day-long festival features activities and entertainment for the entire family. Kid-Friendly vendors, crafts, games, and activities.

  • Paw Patrol Night at Lazy Dog Restaurant Downtown Summerlin: 31March
    • Tue, March 31, 5PM - 7PM @ Lazy Dog Restaurant
    • Dine on the patio, play games and create your own pup badges! First 50 kids eat free and they are giving away a family pack of tickets to see Paw Patrol is on a roll at the Orleans Arena.

  • Fremont Street Experience
    • March 13-17 @ The entire Fremont Street Experience
    • No cost to enter the area FIVE DAYS OF FOOD, DRINK, MUSIC AND WTF
    • It will be VERY FESTIVE, and Adult oriented from about mid-afternoon on
  • St. Patrick's Day Half Marathon
    • Family-friendly event and Athletes welcome with 1/2 marathon, 12k , 5k and 1 mile runs

  • St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival Henderson
    • March 13-15 From Southern Nevada Sons and Daughters of Erin Free Admission. Carnival Requires Purchase Tickets

Ms. Nevada Regency International: Tea with the Queens at Cafe Lola

This week, the Nevada Regency International Queens and I shared my first EVER appearance in my sash and crown! I am BEYOND excited to start along my journey as Ms. Nevada Regency International 2020.  We had an incredible theme of Breakfast at Tiffany's where I got to wear my favorite little black dress and keep my hair up under my crown. Cafe Lola was an amazing host, and had an amazing spread with a variety of teas and little snacks. Along with the beautiful spread, fit for a Queen and any princess tea party I could ever imagine, they are also SUCH a beautiful place to grab some unique photos. In different area's of the cafe they have flower walls, props, a phone booth and more! I loved this phone booth and would love to come back just to sip some tea and do another photoshoot right in here! Fan Girl: Vegas Golden Knights

My New Favorite Kind of Blade (Sorry Wesley) OMG It's almost Knight Time! I have never been as into a sport as I am hockey right now! The Vegas Golden Knights came along and shattered expectations and goals in their inaugural season and I feel like I can reach out and touch hockey season right now since it is so close to upon us. I won't do a full play by play of the season (even though that's all we want to talk about now in the Valley) but I will direct you to my Twitter where I live tweet EVERY EMOTION, 0 filter while I'm having them. Encore Beach Club: 28 Days To Pool Season Finale

Pool Season 2019 has officially started, and I spent the first-day basking in the sun at Encore Beach Club. I got myself bikini ready by following my 28 Days to Pool Season Workout Program that you can follow too! Here is a bit of a rundown on Encore Beach Club and how I feel about it. Encore is a BEAUTIFUL property by itself. I love to have my friends stay here as they will NEVER be disappointed with the staff, their service, or their stay. I have not heard a single complaint ever from them on anything here. Encore Beach Club is no different. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Security is tight to get through, they do a full bag search and metal detector scan and have a long list of items that are not allowed in...like selfie sticks...I had to toss mine out... and even though I had to throw something away I still thought the staff handled me with kindness and that is a HUGE DEAL to me. Moming In Vegas: Container Park

Kid Friendly Life In Vegas We had our FIRST EVER play date! One of the dopest things about Las Vegas is that there are SO many family-friendly activities. I didn't even know about most of them until I became a mom. Our first date was at the Container Park, a place I thought was only for 21+. Turns out, 21+ is only at night from 9PM to close!  First things first, PARKING. It's downtown so you can get "free" parking at places like Main Street Station if you plan on spending some money at their casino and validate your parking. For me, I don't have a problem dropping some change in the machine right next to where I'm going. DON'T FORGET to leave the ticket in your window, and how long you paid for! They are QUICK AF to give tickets down here. Prices range from $1-$3 in the lots. Ky and I - Babywearing with our CuddleBug wrap I am just in love with this place. It's almost time to celebrate our Independence! Whether you were born and raised with Red, White and Blue in your blood or you are here visiting from the land we gained independence from, this is a day we cherish here in America. Vegas for Christmas

When we think of a holiday vacation, we don't really put Vegas and Christmas together in one sentence unless it also involves a Batchelor party. I'm here to challenge that with 3 reasons you should hit Vegas for the holidays that DON'T include the partying, gambling, drinking, and year-round Vegas events. HOLIDAY FEAST There are very few places in the world you can hop around a 3-mile area and have a meal from celebrity chefs and world-class foodie favorites.
